Amigo
During my undergrad, I had a chance to design a concept app called Amigo with a team. Amigo is an app designed and marketed to teach sexual education to children aged 9 to 11 years old. Our app is a guided storytelling game that allows children to learn about sexual education in an engaging way. We created this game through three different prototypes, with alternating roles as a UX Designer, Visual Designer, and a Business Analyst.
UX Designer
For the first prototype, I completed various forms of user research and usability testing to further understand the needs of our target market. I also came up with creative content that is crucial to incorporate within our storyline.
Visual Designer
For the second prototype, I created a cohesive branding throughout our platform to establish our app. My teammate and I designed our logo during this phase where we decided to use our non-player character as the “o” for our logo, since he is the friendly guide that helps lead our user learn throughout the game.
Business Analyst
For the final prototype, my role was to finalize our Business Model Canvas where I evaluated our value proposition, revenue stream, and competitors. My teammate and I created our Cash Flow Statements, Income Statements, and Balance Sheets to visualize our expenses and when we would breakeven.
